ATMC Extends Hours of Operation

Shallotte, NC – Allen Russ, CEO/General Manager of ATMC, has announced that the cooperative will be extending its hours of operation beginning March 1, 2010. In addition, ATMC will also now be open on the Friday after Thanksgiving and on Christmas Eve.

New hours will be Monday through Friday, 8AM-6PM, excluding holidays. This includes both the Shallotte and Sunset Beach locations. The Repair Department will continue with its Saturday schedule of 8AM-5PM response to trouble reports.

"Our customers are our first priority and extending our business hours and remaining open on the day after Thanksgiving and on Christmas Eve will allow us to better serve them," commented Mr. Russ. He added, "We recognize that we have many customers who work until 5:00 and are unable to get to our offices if they need to make payments or add services. We hope this change will make doing business with ATMC more convenient."

ATMC Wireless retail locations will continue to operate on their same schedule and will not be affected by this change. ATMC was voted Best Customer Service Provider and Best Wireless Provider in the 2008 and 2009 Best of Brunswick Awards and Best Internet Provider in the 2009 Best of Brunswick Awards. ATMC currently provides telephone, long distance, internet/broadband, cable television, security, wireless, and business services to almost 39,000 members in Brunswick County, North Carolina and has been providing service to Brunswick communities since 1957.
